BRC Competition Pass – What You Need to Know

From 1st October 2025, British Riding Clubs (BRC) will be introducing a new Competition Pass for all individual competitors taking part in Area Qualifiers and Championship classes. This new system will replace the previous pre-entry fee process.
What is the Competition Pass?
The Competition Pass is a rolling 12-month pass, purchased via Sport:80, that is required for every horse you intend to compete with at Area Qualifiers and subsequent Championships. Without a valid pass, competitors will be eliminated.
How Much Does It Cost?
£30 + transaction fee for riders with 1–2 horses
£45 + transaction fee for riders with 3 or more horses
⚠️ Please note: The Competition Pass is in addition to annual BRC membership fees.
Important Information
Horses must be entered using the names shown in their passports.
Passes are valid for a rolling 12 months from the date of purchase.
A pass must be held for each horse competing at qualifiers.
How to Purchase
Log in to your Sport:80 account.
Go to your profile.
From the drop-down menu, select Competition Pass.
Complete the purchase process.
